Amanda is thirty four years-old, single, has low self-esteem, and is struggling to beat an addiction for which there is no help available. During her search for answers, she faces challenges that threaten to break her spirit, and leave her reaching for the biscuits.

My heart broke for Amanda more than once, as I read this. I am familiar with the emotional eating disorder. Besides having a Master's degree in Behavioral Health, I have a cousin who suffers with this disorder. As I read, there were places in the story where I wished I could have been there with her, to defend her. A couple characters in the story made me so angry that if I could have been there I would have lashed out at them.Some of the words brought tears to my eyes. Great story. I was definitely emotionally invested. Everybody should read this. Some readers will be able to relate, and a lot of others may develop an understanding and not be so quick to judge. This book needed to be written. Thank you.Product details

Can't put this book down! Amanda is me and I am her. Can't wait to continue the reading to see where our life goes.
